Job Purpose

As an Advanced Vehicle Engineer you will be joining a highly motivated team to bring concept projects (from an idea) to fruition (a fully functional vehicle). These projects are fast paced and require a unique ability to multitask and execute various engineering disciplines. These projects will build the foundation for all future production vehicles.

Responsibilities 80s of the Position):

• Work cross functionally with engineering suppliers and design to execute an innovative product that exceeds customer expectation while showcasing Canoos USP.
• Drive product evolution based customer feedback and their specific usecases.
• Support the development of new (ground up) concepts and vehicles.
• Research relevant automotive trends and stay abreast with advancements in the EV landscape.

Required Experience

• 4year higher education qualifications (engineering or equivalent)
• 8 years of handson automotive closures experience
• Advanced knowledge of the automotive landscape particularly EVs.
• Ability to work within a small task focused creative agile team

PreferredExperience

• Engineer with an indepth understanding of complete vehicle systems.

Travel Requirements

• Occasional travel may be required.

Physical Requirements for NonPhysical Positions

While performing the duties of this job employees may be required to sit for prolonged periods of time occasionally bending or stooping lifting up to 10 pounds and prolonged periods of computer use.
