REMOTE SENSING SCIENTIST VACANCY
What we are looking for
SATLANTIS is seeking a candidate with experience in image processing for the design development and testing of calibration and validation (CalVal) plans for optical and infrared multispectral missions.
Specific tasks:
What we are looking for
SATLANTIS is seeking a candidate with experience in image processing for the design development and testing of calibration and validation (CalVal) plans for optical and infrared multispectral missions.
Specific tasks:
- Defining mission requirements based on the missions objective and design.
- Designing and developing endtoend processing chains to produce analysisready satellite data.
- Designing and developing semiautomatic chains for image quality assessment and control including optical radiometric and geometric quality.
- Masters or Ph.D. in Physics Mathematics Engineering or related fields.
- Knowledge of programming such as Python and image processing libraries.
- Experience in EO data analysis CalVal and EDAP protocols.
- Experience in radiometric calibration methods (e.g. RadCalNet).
- Team spirit versatility and creativity.
