Working to protect the states environment and heritage.
The Strategic Procurement team within the NSW Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) are currently seeking to appoint Procurement Officers.
About the role
As a Procurement Officer you will report to the Procurement Manager and will provide procurement experience and assist stakeholders to plan source and manage procurement arrangements to effectively meet organisational and business objectives.
You will manage and deliver a quality and efficient procurement service identifying mitigating and escalating risks throughout the procurement process. The role will provide guidance and advice on procurement policy process and governance requirements to various stakeholder. This is a dynamic fast paced environment offering the opportunity to learn and grow in a large complex environment.
About You
You will have experience leading end to endtoend sourcing activities including providing advice on the appropriate market approach assisting with strategy development drafting tender and contract documentation for categories such as general Goods & Services Construction and ICT. You will demonstrate proven experience guiding stakeholders on procurement policy process and governance very well organised in procurement documentation and reporting and possess advanced communication skills to be able to negotiate and influence at all levels.
