Job Description

Position Summary

NMILC is seeking aGrants and Program Project Managerto act as a bridge between administrative and program teams. This role involves managing program administration for complex federal and state grants coordinating contract and grant activities across legal and social service programs and ensuring that program objectives are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Project Management:
    • Coordinate of program operation plans for major grants and contracts.
    • Lead multiple programs simultaneously assigning roles tracking progress and ensuring timely completion.
    • Disseminate information regarding program deliverables modifications policies and procedures.
    • Design improvements in NMILCs online case management database (LegalServer) and Case Management Manual.
    • Develop systems to track administrative requirements like training completions and license renewals.
  • Grant Compliance and Coordination:
    • Collaborate on drafting policies required by contracts to align with program needs.
    • Coordinate site visits from government funders assign roles and track preparations.
    • Manage Grant Award Modification (GAM) submissions and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
    • Prepare grant reports by compiling program data for internal evaluation and funder reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of four years of relevant experience and education.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Detailoriented with a commitment to producing highquality work requiring minimal review.
  • Excellent writing research analytical design and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in nonprofit management or federal grant administration is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with LegalServer or similar case management systems is a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of immigration legal services is advantageous.
  • A passion for data collection/analysis to enhance organizational impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.

Our Salary and Benefits

This is a fulltime nonexempt position. Starting rate for the Grants and Program Project Manager position is $31.50/hour.

NMILC offers a phenomenal benefits package which includes:
