Job Title: Corporate and Commercial Solicitor 5 PQE)

Salary: per annum

About the Firm: Join a leading law firm in Brentwood renowned for its professional excellence and commitment to client service. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate and Commercial Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PostQualification Experience (PQE) to join our clients dynamic team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Main Responsibilities:
Corporate and Commercial Services:
- Corporate Law Advice: Provide expert advice in various aspects of corporate and partnership law including:
- Business and share acquisitions and disposals
- Management buyouts
- Share reorganisations issues buybacks and transfers
- Advice to company directors
- Corporate governance
- Joint ventures and shareholder arrangements
- Partnerships and limited liability partnerships
- Commercial Contract Arrangements: Advise clients on a variety of commercial contracts such as:
- Supply of goods and services
- Distribution outsourcing and fundraising
- Ecommerce
- Agency and franchise agreements
- Intellectual property matters
- Client Relationships and Profitability: Maintain the firms profitability through regular billing and the development of strong client relationships.
- Document Drafting and Negotiation: Draft documentation using precedents create new precedents where necessary and negotiate transaction documents with high interpersonal skill specialised knowledge and judgment.
- Product Development: Assist the team in developing commercial law products including eproducts available through the firms website.
- Marketing and Training: Attend and speak at the firms marketing events and seminars and assist with the development and delivery of training events and other marketing initiatives.
- Legal Updates: Stay current with developments in Corporate and Commercial Law.
- Additional Duties: Undertake any other reasonable duties allocated to the role as needed.
