We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage and oversee trust accounting functions within our educational institutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in trust accounting preferably within a school or college setting and will be responsible for maintaining financial integrity ensuring compliance and providing strategic financial guidance to the Directors.Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations related to trust accounting including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Accounting: Maintain accurate and uptodate accounting records ensuring financial statements are prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Audit: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits addressing any issues and implementing recommendations.
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the Directors providing insights and recommendations.
Advisory: Offer strategic financial advice to support decisionmaking processes.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
510 years of experience in accounting with a focus on trust accounting.
Prior experience in a school or college setting or educational Trust is desirable
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite particularly Excel.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial regulations and compliance standards.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Candidate Profile:
Experience with financial management in educational institutions.
Familiarity with trust accounting standards and practices.
Experience in preparing and managing budgets in a school or college environment.
