As a Software Development Engineer on the team you will be leading the design and implementation of new advertiserfacing features. You will work with product UX science and other Amazon engineering teams to deliver features with high quality observability and scalability builtin.
Key job responsibilities
Collaborate closely with product managers designers and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Craft code that meets our internal standards for style maintainability and best practices for a highscale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code reviews
Communicate design and architecture proposals clearly in design documents and iterate the design based on team review and feedback
Design and implement scalable solutions for our advertising customers built on the innovations of our generative AI science team
Take ownership of the maintenance monitoring and support of the features you deliver
About the team
The Genesis team is part of the CreativeX org and owns the components that support advertisers in the creation of AI generated images and videos during ad campaign creation. We work closely with the product science and model hosting teams to deliver high value features to our advertisers and enable them to craft high quality image and video creatives that effectively showcase the products in their ads.
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
