Make a Difference
This position will assist with new hire orientation student precepting department education and quality improvement.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years of experience as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer
- Education: Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program.
- Current Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
- Provide Echo training and support evaluating sonographer quality performance.
- Formalizes sonographer orientation/training program.
- Communicates feedback respectfully openly honestly and directly to patients and caregivers.
- Facilitates trusting relationships with physicians patients and coworkers.
- Serves as coach mentor and a positive role model.
- Holds self and others accountable to the highest standards.
- Work with Medical Director for quality improvement of the echo program including lecture development and valve clinic review and records.
- Maintaining ICAEL standards as well as recertification process.
