Ultrasound Technologist
- About Facility:
- 8800 N. Tryon St. Charlotte NC 28262
- 130 Licensed Beds
- Stroke Center
- Not Trauma designated trauma patients transferred to CMC Main after stabilization
- Not a Teaching hospital
- Radius rule: Travelers permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
- Department Information:
- On average how many scans are performed per day 10-14
- Minimum Years of Experience required: 1 year Ultrasound experience
- Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes
- Patient Types/Common Scans:
- All patient population will be served to include - ED Inpatient Observation and Outpatient patients
- Will perform Ultrasound guided invasive procedures
- Required License National Certification Certs (BLS ACLS etc.) or other position specific requirements such as Drivers License and/or Insurance:
- BLS - required
- ARDMS

- Skills required:
- Invasive procedures such as paracentesis/thoracentesis. General and vascular studies including but not limited to ABI upper and lower arterial upper and lower venous venous insufficiency upper and lower extremity vein mapping carotid liver doppler renal artery aorta appendix intussusception pyloric . east limited (r/o abscess only) testicular soft tissue and hernia evaluation first trimester OB
- Support within the Department:
- Guest Services/Trasport for Inpatient & Observation patients that require transport to the department
- Radiologist access 24/7
- Technology/Equipment:
- EMR: EPIC
- RIS: Epic Radiant
- PACS: Philips iSite
- Department specific Equipment:
- Siemens Sequoias
- Trophon
- Floating: Is traveler required to float to other facilities

- Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays Traveler will work on holidays that fall on scheduled shifts
