Summary
As a Senior Commercial Account Manager you will manage an assigned book of business. You will be responsible for a high level of service and understanding of our clients business needs. You will partner with a Senior Sales Executive and be accountable for Hubs largest and most complex accounts. You will work in a collaborative team environment mentoring Account Managers Associate Account Managers and Team Assistants as applicable.
Job Duties
Manages a book of business generally in excess of $1000000 in revenue depending on the complexity or number of accounts.
Provide quality customer service to existing accounts with a goal of 93 retention or more.
Collaborate within a team that includes Sales Executives Sr. Account Managers Account Managers and Associate Account Managers.
Mentor support and train Account Managers Associate Account Managers and Team Assistants as necessary.
Ensure accurate maintenance of client information in EPIC
Leads resolution of escalated complex service issues between clients and insurance carriers that require policy interpretation and experiencebased judgment to resolve.
Leads client meetings (including renewal meetings) independent from producer or manager as needed.
Accountable to administrative tasks including but not limited to:
Annual Stewardship Reports
Renewal Process from prerenewal to proposal preparation to binding of coverages
Loss Summary reviews
Account System Maintenance
Billing questions
Marketing lines of coverage as needed
Special projects and all other duties as assigned
Review carrier quotes and negotiate coverage items & pricing
Develop coverage comparisons to be used in proposal
Responsible for full account life cycle including the renewal process quoting proposal binding and policy distribution
Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency in an insurance Account Management role in required lines.
Excellent oral and written English communications skills.
Superior customer service and problemsolving skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems.
Ability to work in a team environment.
High level attention to detail is essential
Ability to work a regular fulltime work schedule at HUBs facility(s) and ability to travel on business when .
Some supervisory project leader or team leader experience preferred.
Currently licensed in good standing in required lines and states.
Current with all necessary CE credits in required lines and states.
Advanced professional designation highly desirable e.g. AAI ARM CIC).
The expected salary range for this position is $85000 to $150000and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
