The Associate Director F135 Sustainment Subcontractor Management will lead a team of program and project management professionals to execute robust subcontract program management processes to meet program objectives aligned with fleet readiness requirements and affordability goals. This individual will drive the team to work with cross functional teams from across the F135 Sustainment Program Military Engines Sustainment Operations Engineering Contracting Finance and the Joint Program Office propulsion team to drive subcontractor performance. The successful candidate will be a skilled leader integrator and communicator ready make a difference on an exciting program.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the F135 Sustainment Subcontractor Management team driving subcontractor performance across sustainment contracts the control account management and integration
  • Lead team responsible for Collins Sustainment Program Management
  • Lead team responsible for the RollsRoyce Sustainment and IDIQ Clean Team Program Management
  • Develop talent by creating opportunities for individual and professional growth by coaching challenging and supporting the team
  • The ideal candidate must possess the ability to analyze/solve problems and exercise creativity to develop and/or implement practical solutions within the program management discipline

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelors degree in business or technical discipline is required
  • A minimum of 12 years of Sustainment customer/product support project/program management general business management sustainment operations and/or strategic planning experience is required
  • At least 5 years of managerial supervisory and leadership skills required.
  • Strong knowledge of the program management principles
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Travel Requirements 20

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Military program experience for understanding customers and operational expectations
  • F135 Program and/or F135 Sustainment technical experience
  • Selfmotivated; be proactive and take initiative to complete projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills customer focus and team building skills

This role is: Onsite

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 147000 USD 295000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
