Job Description
Alaska Northstar Resources is currently seeking a Systems Engineer III to potentially join our team for a government program that may be awarded in the next 36 months.
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Evaluate CSP documentation and advise on implementation of technical artifacts.
- Coordinate with CSPs and PMO to create and maintain cloud adoption pipeline and ensure engineered solutions are compliant. Coordinate with DISA to facilitate CAP onboarding and DoD Provisional Authorization.
- Provide expertise on cloud infrastructure and cloud implementation (to include automation).
- Research emerging trends and technologies related to cloud engineering. Implement prescribed solutions for various deployment models (Private Public Community and Hybrid) and delivery models including Infrastructure as a Service Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
Candidate must be US Citizen
Candidate must have active DoD Secret Clearance at minimum.
Candidate must have an active 8570 IAM Level II certification. (CISSP etc)
Candidate must have a bachelors degree (OR additional years of experience in lieu of)
Candidate must have at least 10 years experience with the following:
- Recent relevant experience in Cloud Service Offerings (CSOs) and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs).
- Ability to communicate in both oral and written forms demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff as well as clients.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense security requirements as applied to their subject matter expertise.
- Experience working in an Information Technology environment similar in size (or larger) and scope to this award.
- Strong working knowledge of large complex Information Technology environments.
Work Environment
Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear concise accurate and timely communication both verbally and in writing 100. Requires ability to interact professionally with coworkers management and client 100. Occasional business travel may be required. Only requested and approved expenses will be covered by ANR.
