We have a fantastic opportunity for a number of Learning Support Officers to join Penola Catholic College and work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
As the Learning Support Officer you will be responsible for supporting and assisting students with additional needs in order to maximise their educational outcomes. The Learning Support Officer will provide assistance in the classroom and out of the classroom working closely with teaching staff and student enhancement teachers to ensure our students with additional needs are given every assistance to learn and reach their full potential.
This is a fixed term part time five days per week position (until 26 January 2026. The hours would be Monday to Friday 8:45am to 3:30pm for a total of 30.4 hours per week.
About You
To be successful you will have previous experience as a Learning Support Officer preferably in a secondary school or experience working with young people with additional needs or learning barriers. An education support qualification would be highly regarded. You must have a valid Working With Children Check.
You will also have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
