WhoarewelookingforInresponsetosteadygrowthwithinourWater/WastewaterbusinessourWatergroupin CharlotteNCislooking to bring onboard a motivated Senior Project Managerto help with the continued development and growth of GHDs Water Business. You will also provide technical leadership and delivery of major water and wastewater infrastructure projects for our clients throughout the Carolinas and the Southeast Region.

Workingwithanenergeticandhighperformingteamthispositionoffersavariety ofworkandwillsee you involved in:- Fosterrelationshipswithexistingandprospectiveclientsthroughbusiness developmentsalesand marketing
- LeadprojectsrelatedtomasterplansanddesignofWater/Wastewaterprojectsincludingconveyance systems pump stations and storage facilities
- EstablishprojectdeliverystrategyanddevelopjobmanagementplanQAplansecuringresources establishing work briefs and budgets
- Prepareandmonitorprojectbudgetsandschedulesforexistingprojects
- Participateintherecruitmentofnewteammembers
- ParticipateinbusinessdevelopmentandmarketingstrategiesspecifictoNorthCarolina
- Developpricingscopingandwinstrategiesfornewwork
- Mentorteammembersandassessworkassignmentsprovidedirectionandtrainingasneeded
- Manageallcommunicationpertainingtotechnicalandcontractprojectissuesforclientmeetings
- ConductworktoappropriateprofessionalstandardsandtothefirmsQA/QCrequirements;participatesin QA/QC programs for other projects as requested by managers. Prepare design computations and opinions of probable construction cost
- Preparationofreportsspecificationsdrawingsconstructionschedulesandpermitsforwater/wastewater designprojects
- Directteamofsubjectarealeadsforthedevelopmentofdesignandconstructiondocuments
- CollaboratewithServiceLineLeadersandProjectManagerswithinandoutsidetheRegiononwork sharing and business development
- Bachelorsand/orMastersdegreeinCivilorEnvironmentalEngineeringorrelatedfield
- ProfessionalEngineer(PE)licenseinNorthCarolina
- Minimum15yearsofexperience(morethan20yearsaplus)inplanningdesignandconstructionof water and wastewater infrastructure with at least 5 years in the North Carolina market (Charlotte metropolitan area a plus)
- Excellentwrittenandoralcommunicationskillswithprovenabilitytodevelopmentorandlead professionaltechnicalstaff
- Strongbusinessdevelopmentproposalpreparationandmarketingskills
- Astandoutcolleaguewithastrongclientfocus
