What Were Looking For

This position plays a pivotal role in advancing the universitys mission by overseeing the recruitment hiring training and management of student staff and student managers who serve as tour guides and ambassadors of Baylor. In addition the role is responsible for the successful of key scholarship and recruitment events designed to meet the enrollment targets set by the Baylor Board of Regents.

A bachelors degree and two years of relevant work experience are required. A masters degree and four years of relevant experience are preferred.

Additional education or experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

A valid Texas Driver License with a clear driving record of at least two years is required.

Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a FullTime basis.

What You Will Do

  • Support the recruitment selection training and ongoing professional development of approximately 200 Baylor Experience & Admissions Representatives (BEARs).
  • Provide leadership mentorship and guidance to Senior BEARs who serve as student managers.
  • Ensure their ongoing development coordinate feedback processes manage meeting schedules and foster a positive office culture.
  • Assist in the planning and of highprofile scholarship events such as Distinguished Scholars Days Baylor to Baylor Med and Baylor to Baylor Law.
  • Plan and implement various campus visit experiences including Top Golf outings Waco tour partnerships Saturday tours and High Visit Days.
  • Assist in auditing the student schedule staffing tours events and experiences outside of regular office hours as needed.
  • Develop and present monthly reports evaluating student and guest experiences using datadriven methods.
  • Deliver presentations on Baylors programs and enrollment steps as well as provide updates to campus partners at the start of each semester.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of admissions processes and university programs to provide accurate and insightful guidance to prospective students and families.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylors mission.
  • Ability to comply with University policies.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
