Strong knowledge of endtoend project lifecycle methodologies (mainly agile).

Role Purpose
The purpose of the Solution Architect role isto:
Define endtoend solutions for IT change
Create designs that are fit for purpose from a functional nonfunctional service and security point of view
Deliver solutions that progress the overall architecture journey and are aligned to IT Strategy
Comply with standards design approaches and governance.
Nature of Work
Solutions and Assurance
ambitions for availability security resilience and performance
o Produce design options with associated costs benefits and risksto enable investment decisions
o Work with product owners architects platform teams and other project colleagues to agree tradeoffs
between longterm and short term goals
o Responsible for the integrity of the endtoend solution across Platforms including transition states used to
achieve the target state
o Shape and estimate IT initiatives and feature team sprints ensuring that component parts deliver against
business outcome.
Good communication skills with the ability to provide technical guidance to peers and project colleagues.
