Job Summary:
Hillside Boutique Hotel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Supervisor to support daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.
The Operations Supervisor at The Hillside Boutique Hotel supports daily hotel operations focusing on the front desk housekeeping and food and beverage to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
This hands on role involves working in a dynamic teamoriented environment at a boutique property prioritizing an elevated guest experience. Applicants should be goaloriented and eager to learn combining customer service with supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Supports and supervises Front Desk Housekeeping Food & Beverage and other operational teams.
Assists with service delivery in all aspects of hotel operations
Trains and develops staff on hotel policies procedures and customer service standards
Schedules and manages staff assignments
Inspects guest rooms public areas and backofhouse areas for cleanliness and maintenance
Coordinates with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding guest service and maintain a positive work environment.
Assist with managing hotel budgets expenses and inventory levels.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Conduct regular training sessions for staff to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Implement and maintain health and safety standards throughout the hotel.
Assist in preparing reports on operational performance and suggest improvements.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in hotel operations or a similar supervisory role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and abilities.
Organizational and time management skills
Customer service focused
Leadership abilities
Experience in hotel or restaurant management or a similar supervisory role
Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices.
