Speakeasy is building the next generation of API infrastructure.
We help API producers offer a Stripelike developer experience for all their APIs by creating and maintaining bestinclass developer surfaces like idiomatic featurerich SDKs Terraform providers and docs. Great developer experience accelerates API adoption reduces the burden on support and engineering and paves the way for emergent use cases.
At the same time were building towards a vision of providing a complete suite of tooling to handle all of a companys API needs. Were leveraging platform engineering code gen and LLMs to provide a platform that unburdens teams who are creating maintaining and constantly evolving their APIs.
As a Solutions Architect youll be primarily responsible for working collaboratively and proactively with our key accounts to ensure they have an amazing experience with Speakeasy and ideally become our greatest advocates and evangelists!
To do that youll need to:
Demonstrate exemplary customer empathy and be able to pragmatically show customers how they can accomplish their goals with Speakeasy both in writing and live
Form strong relationships with our customer champions from individual developers all the way up to CTOs
Dive deep into the technical details of our customers APIs and SDKs; likely youre already an expert in OpenAPI and have built APIs or SDKs before in large teams. Youre excited to get into the weeds to make customers successful
Learn fast! Every customer might throw something new your way and youll need to take that in your stride
Thrive in an autonomous environment
Use your customer learnings to influence the product roadmap and docs to ensure constant improvement in the customer experience
Manage multiple customer relationships and potentially competing priorities elegantly
Note that we are looking for USbased candidates in MT/PT timezones with a strong preference for the San Francisco Bay Area. Ideal candidates are excited to work in the office alongside the rest of the team 23 days per week.
Our team is split across PST and GMT timezones. This has its advantages and disadvantages. We follow async processes pretty well but its not perfect. Youll help us get there
Were a small team of 25. We are collaborative and supportive of each other but believe in high ownership and autonomy
