Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Teach three courses per semester 9 credit hours) Sustain creative/scholarly research in the field of studio art Participate in departmental and university service including collaborating with Studio Art colleagues on curriculum program development and student advising Assist with the coordination and supervision of the Painting and Drawing area
Minimum Qualifications
Earned MFA degree in Painting or Drawing Studio Art or equivalent (by July 31 for a fall hire) Ability to teach all levels of painting and drawing foundations studio seminar courses and areas of specialization Evidence of teaching effectiveness Evidence of commitment to inclusivity and accessibility in research service and/or pedagogy Experience with educating and mentoring students of various backgrounds and demographics
