Job Description Summary:

The Fixed Income Strategic Product Manager is a capability expert responsible for developing and managing product plans that support the achievement of Northern Trust Asset Managements (NTAM) strategic goals.

The role will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle from development through decline phases with a focus on business management discipline that yields profitable growth. Responsibilities will lie in 3 broad areas: 1 competitive landscape assessment; 2 product positioning and messaging; 3 gotomarket action plans.

Job Description:

The Fixed Income Strategic Product Manager will serve to define and execute on the strategic plan for innovation and commercialization of NTAMs Fixed Income product and investment capabilities globally. This role will partner closely with the Fixed Income Investments team in defining the research and development agenda. This role will also partner closely with Distribution partners to drive the commercialization of new and existing Fixed Income products to drive organic revenue growth for the firm. The role will report to the Head of Product Strategy for Northern Trust Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities:

The Fixed Income Strategic Product Manager will:

  • Develop the strategic plan for innovation and commercialization of NTAMs Fixed Income investment capabilities.
  • Partner with the Fixed Income Investment team to create the agenda for research and development and develop the business plan for new Fixed Income product launches in collaboration with Distribution partners.
  • Partner with Distribution team in different regions (US EMEA APAC) to develop robust gotomarket strategy to commercialize Fixed Income product capabilities specifically targeted to client segments.
  • Partner with stakeholder functions (Marketing Operations etc. to scale existing Fixed Income products serve as an advocate in the development of Fixed Income platform capabilities and create impactful and differentiated content that demonstrates our value proposition to our clients.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience with Fixed Income product experience. This experience should include the entire life cycle of product development experience. Additionally experience should also include the ability to develop present and respond to strategic inquiries about fixed income products being recommended and current fixed products offered.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills including the ability to foster collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strong analytical and business management skills with the ability to develop strategic goals and translate into specific and measurable plans.
  • Resultsoriented clientcentric focus and problemsolving mindset.

Salary Range:

$USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
