Job Description

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction equipment efficiency and materials supply.
- Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
- Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
- Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
- Have a strong customer focus.
- Implement Lean Enterprise concepts and initiatives.
- Focus towards Six Sigma quality and continuous improvement.
- Drive productivity and efficiency improvements with the Hourly workforce including streamlining processes.
- Proactively support companywide safety goals.
- Be an integral part of Operations core management team.
- Interact professionally with all departments customers and suppliers
- Flexibility problem solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment are essential elements of this position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 plus years in manufacturing environment with supervisory or management experience.
- Skilled in Team Building and implementing employee involvement.
- Ability to work constructively with plant leadership to obtain operating and business objectives.
- Experience with Lean Concepts and implementing improvements for Operations.
- Ability to work with customers on all issues and be first line company representative.
- Outstanding Communication Skills.
- Must have Problem Solving and Process Improvement Skills.
