Our client a leading and fastgrowing Corporate Finance/M&A advisor in the DACH region advises its clients (companies shareholders and financial investors) on the implementation of strategic objectives in the field of Corporate Finance/M&A.
As part of further growth our client is looking for a highly qualified Managing Director responsible for the sector Software & IT Services. This role offers an opportunity for the ideal candidate to leverage our clients expanding firm to establish an M&A practice in the sector Software & IT Services in an effective and responsible manner.
Ultimately the Managing Director will focus on developing new and existing client relationships leading challenging and complex engagements within a collaborative team environment as well as ensuring all aspects of engagements are delivered with the highest quality standards and impact.
This role requires a strategic mindset strong leadership skills a deep understanding of the software and IT landscape and strong expertise in deal management technical implementation and excellent relationship skills.
This is a leadership position that will make substantial contributions to overall firm growth.
Tasks
- Lead the of all work streams required to close transactions for midmarket companies in the sector Software & IT Services.
- Drive technical delivery excellence by overseeing financial modelling due diligence and transaction .
- Negotiating documenting and supporting the of transactions.
- Coaching junior team members in their professional development.
- Sharing and managing best practices and leading internal training where required.
- Leading business development efforts while maintaining close relationships with existing clients.
- Supporting talent acquisition and business development.
- Contribute to the creation of a highperformance and inclusive culture.
- Identify develop and pitch financial advisory opportunities and position our client as the preeminent independent corporate finance advisor in the software space.
Requirements
- At least ten years of relevant deal experience in the sector Software & IT Services.
- Leadership experience managing crossfunctional teams and driving alignment.
- Strong deal management and technical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to structure execute and successfully close related mandates.
- Strong deal origination business development and client relationship skills.
- High level of integrity professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
