Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Microwave Technician to join our clients dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company in the telecommunications industry specializing in microwave communication systems. Duties & Responsibilities
- Install maintain and repair microwave communication systems and equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting and fault analysis on microwave links.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Align and test antennas waveguides and associated transmission equipment.
- Work with engineering teams to optimize system performance and implement upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repair activities.
- Proven experience as a Microwave Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of RF principles wave propagation and microwave systems.
- Familiarity with microwave testing equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
- Experience in installation alignment and maintenance of microwave antennas and transmission lines.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics blueprints and technical manuals.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions.
- Valid drivers license (if required for fieldwork).
