The Director of Medical Economics and consulting analytics will work closely with firm management to lead the medical economics components and play a key role in configuration and business process redesign and data workflow integration for Analytics for Risk Contracting (ARC) comprehensive population health platform implementations and ongoing operations initially in California and over time expanding to include Nevada Arizona Texas and potentially additional West Coast states as well as for any accounts nationally as assigned. Client work will include complex internal and external projects related to the design build and delivery of analytics solutions for delegated IPAs taking professional risk dual risk arrangements between IPAs and hospitals restricted KnoxKeene entities MSSP ACOs and other risk bearing organizations and health plans.
The role involves both strategic advisory and handson work with client staff providers executives vendors and other stakeholders to successfully integrate ARC analytics and workflow outputs into client EMR and other systems to improve clients profitable revenue including both growth and performance.

Position Description:
Lead and oversee the implementation process for ARC ensuring clients successful adoption and utilization of our technology platform for clients located initially in California and over time expanding to include Nevada Arizona Texas and potentially additional West Coast states as well as for any accounts nationally as assigned.
Drive the development of new processes reporting and continuous improvement initiatives to improve profitable revenue including both growth and performance improvements and to accomplish the goals objectives and strategic plans for West Coast Managed Care Plans IPAs and provider systems.
Lead and implement ARC EMR and HIE Integration for clients on the West Coast Provider Systems IPA and Managed Care Plans
Design and implement with client workflow integration for various key client roles that include ensuring the right data and reports flow out of ARC to the necessary people/platforms/workflows as well as ensuring proper configuration of and client role access to the appropriate ARC dashboards and scorecards and to ensure that the necessary data to power required ARC analytics is flowing into ARC at the required frequency.
Work crossfunctionally to troubleshoot and resolve challenges in large and complex healthcare data implementations ensuring a smooth process for our customers
Act as an escalation point for customer issues swiftly resolving any concerns and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the implementation process
Develop track and enhance KPIs and analytics reporting and manage client deliverables from scope development to output generation
Provide thought leadership on best practices influencing the companys approach and methodologies for efficient and accelerated project delivery.
Serve as a people leader guiding and mentoring a team to deliver exceptional results and foster their growth and development.
Document technical and systems requirements (functional and nonfunctional) as needed including development of checklists and user guides (internal and clientfacing) to support standard work and delivery efficiencies
Accountable for proactive risk management at various levels including quality/firm standards operational/PM risks communication budget and resource constraints
Lead or support related internal improvement initiatives and reporting processes
Maintain a deep understanding of our firms service lines/offerings and seek out opportunities to understand and participate in firms business development pipeline and sales cycle.
Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations and ethical standards
Qualifications:
Masters degree in an applicable field preferred (e.g. MBA MPH MHA MPA)
At least 8 years of health care analytics and/or consulting experience of progressively advanced reports data management and visualization experience.
Experience working in and/or operationalizing Restricted KnoxKieene and California delegated professional risk IPAs required experience operationalizing California IPA and hospital dual risk arrangements preferred.
Prior experience in:
Population health management reporting and analytics
Health information technology
Health care policy with experience in CMS Medicare and Medicaid contracts
Healthcare claims data and clinical data integration (EMR HIE etc.
Advanced SQL skills experience with data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau Cognos Power BI)
Strong project management skills including organization prioritization and problemsolving skills; strong oral verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to take direction and feedback from both internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively on multiple projects in a fastpaced environment
Deep knowledge and understanding of the RKK and CA IPA Requirements and functions.
