Job Description
Position Summary:
Jefferies is seeking a Research Compliance Associate to sit on our Research Management team in New York. The main function would be to assist the department in managing compliance initiatives and approvals.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for reviewing department emails flagged by compliance systems
- Maintain approvals for surveys videos and other workflows to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
- Organize and manage department responses related to due diligence requests
- Assist in the risk and vendor assessment process
- Periodic Review of client contracts and addendums related to new business requests
Qualifications:
- 13 years of experience in compliance or a supervisory review role
- Familiarity with compliance systems preferably Behavox. Strong organizational communication and excel skills a must
- Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred
- Detailoriented proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $100000.
