Job Profile:
Overview: We are seeking a diligent and organized individual to join our warehouse operations team as a Warehouse Operations Assistant (Petty Cash & Logistics Coordinator). This role is crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations by managing petty cash overseeing transportation costs handling documentation such as LR (Lorry Receipts) eway bills and writing forwarding notes. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Petty Cash Management:
- Maintain petty cash funds and ensure accuracy in recording transactions.
- Reconcile petty cash balances regularly and prepare reports as required.
- Process petty cash reimbursements in accordance with company policies.
- Transportation Cost Tracking:
- Verify transportation costs against LR (Lorry Receipts) and other relevant documents.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues related to transportation costs to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Documentation Handling:
- Prepare and manage eway bills for transportation as per regulatory requirements.
- Organize and maintain all documentation related to warehouse operations including LR eway bills and forwarding notes.
- Ensure timely submission of required documentation and compliance with legal and internal policies.
- Forwarding Notes:
- Prepare forwarding notes accurately detailing the contents of shipments and relevant logistics information.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and efficient dispatch of goods.
- Assist in resolving any logistical issues or delays that may arise during the forwarding process.
- Inventory Support:
- Collaborate with inventory management teams to reconcile inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in conducting regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Communicate any inventoryrelated concerns or observations to the warehouse management team.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations logistics coordination or a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook) and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Detailoriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in all tasks.
