Mad Science Is Hiring!
Part Time Nontraditional Schedule
You are:
Flexible creative engaging and have excellent verbal communication skills.
You love children science teaching and/or acting.
You own a car.
You often say things like I got that. I have an idea. Let me take the lead on that. and I handled that. What next
You thrive in environments where you get a lot of support but function with a great deal of autonomy.
You are excited by nontraditional work schedules because you love the gig economy!
You arent afraid to try new things and you love variety.
We are:
A team of STEMloving folks who spend our days transforming laboratory science into fun interactive learning experiences for youth from PreK to 6th grade.
We believe in working smart and having a good time.
We all wear many hats and we work collaboratively to get things done and ensure that our students and their families are thrilled by their learning experience.
The Job:

You can work anywhere from 25 days between 2:30pm and 5:30pm
What will you do
You will drive (in the car you own) to a school daycare or park and rec
You will lead an immersive and interactive science lesson (workshops day camps week long camps etc) (after a lot of paid training so that you feel totally comfortable in all ways)
Pay:
$20 $22.50 per hour (one hour workshops are paid at a minimum of 2 hours)
Most days you will work 1 maybe 2 programs per day. A typical instructor will work 310 hours per week depending on availability.
**Extra hours may be available in our administrative office and on weekends conducting programminglet us know if youd like more hours and we can discuss.
PSwe also loan you a cool lab coat to wear too! (youll be a Science Rock Star!
