We are currently seeking a Health & Wellness Director (HWD) to join our dynamic and missiondriven leadership team. This is a fulltime salaryexempt position overseeing all aspects of the Health & Wellness Department in both our Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods.
What Youll Do:
Lead and support a team that includes a Resident Care Coordinator Memory Care Coordinator Medication Assistants and Caregivers.
Ensure exceptional care and services are provided in alignment with individualized service plans and applicable state regulations.
Oversee documentation assessments and charting practices for accuracy and compliance.
Provide oversight and support to the Resident Care Coordinator and Memory Care Coordinator in managing caregiver and med tech staffing ensuring appropriate coverage is maintained 24/7. While scheduling duties are delegated the Health & Wellness Director holds overall responsibility for ensuring staffing levels meet the needs of the community at all times.
Collaborate with residents families and care providers to support overall wellness.
While this role does not provide direct nursing services you will lead your nonlicensed team to observe document and report changes in resident condition facilitating prompt attention from residents healthcare providers.
Partner with the Executive Director and other department heads to ensure strong communication and a residentcentered approach to care.
Participate in the ManageronDuty (MOD) weekend rotation and maintain a flexible schedule based on the needs of the community.
Maintain 24/7 oncall responsibility for the Health & Wellness Department to ensure urgent care staffing or resident safety concerns are addressed promptly.
What Were Looking For:
An active RN or LPN license in good standing with the State of Arizona.
An active Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card TB clearance and current CPR & First Aid certification.
A valid Food Handler Permit (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare leadership role is preferred though strong candidates with transferable experience will be considered.
Strong interpersonal organizational and problemsolving skills.
A calm professional presenceespecially in highstress or urgent situations.
A passion for working with seniors and a desire to lead with purpose and heart.
