South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) seeks an engaging and dedicated Accounting instructor to teach financial accounting intermediate accounting and other related courses in our Social Sciences & Business Division for Spring quarter.
SPSCC seeks adjunct or parttime faculty with the following qualities:

What Youll Do
Faculty members will work with other faculty staff and administrators to:
Create and facilitate contextualized and integrated learning experiences in accounting in relation to identified college pathways that are linked to career goals.
Create authentic assessments of students knowledge skills and abilities in accounting that measure course program and college wide outcomes.
Apply multiple teaching and learning strategies that promote the affective cognitive and kinesthetic domains of learning.
Support students in and out of the classroom which includes directing them to campus services and resources.
Be available to teach classes on a variety of days and times.
Course Titles- Principles of Accounting I II and III
- General ledger computerized accounting systems
- Payroll accounting and business taxes
- Intermediate Accounting I and II
- Governmental Accounting
- Federal Income Tax
- Auditing
Ability to teach a range of daytime evening or online sections.Qualifications You Possess
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting (or related area with significant coursework in Accounting) from an accredited college or university and experience teaching accounting courses at the college level. Masters degree in accounting required for Principles of Accounting I II and III.
- Accountingrelated work experience
- Online teaching accreditation
