Your Role:

Hadrians finance team is seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to join us and support our accounting closing process. As an Accounting Intern you will play a vital role in bookkeeping streamlining processes and enhancing the efficiency of our closing procedures.

You will spend your days supporting the Finance team with managing expenses preparing supporting documentation and reviewing transactions to ensure accuracy. You will also have the opportunity to manage journal entries contribute to monthly closings and support the creation of accurate financial statements. Additionally youll be encouraged to contribute ideas for process automation and help improve the way we work. Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on accuracy will be key to succeeding in this role.

Were committed to setting you up for success. Upon joining you will receive comprehensive training on our ERP systems (Xero and Spendesk) accounting procedures and related tools to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive!

What you will do as an Accounting Intern at Hadrian:

• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system.
• Managing Expenses: Assist in collecting invoices and receipts and verifying that expenses are appropriately documented and approved.
• Reviewing Sales Invoices: Review and reconcile sales invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Supporting Monthly Closing: Collaborate with the finance team to support the monthly closing process ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
• Analyzing Closing: Participate in analyzing financial data related to the closing process identifying opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.

You are fit for this job because you:

• Are a student pursuing a degree in finance accounting or a related field
• Have a good understanding of accounting principles
• Demonstrate strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Are able to commit for 6 months
