Job Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring maximum availability utilization and productivity of mining equipment by providing technical assistance/acquisition of parts and materials by coordinating various contractor activitiesJob Description
Key Accountabilities
Provide technical assistance to maintenance for equipment and personnel scheduling to ensure maximum availability utilization and availability to support mine operations.
Utilize available resources to maintain accurate detailed and acceptable records of equipment and components to ensure timely and effective maintenance.
Order materials and equipment as required under normal and/or emergency conditions to meet the needs of a mining site.
Coordinate the shipping repair and return of mine equipment and parts to meet production requirements in a cost effective and timely manner.
Comply with safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Interface with maintenance staff mine site operations groups other Vistra personnel and vendors/contractors to ensure consistent practical and effective maintenance support.
Participate in special projects and committee assignments as requested
**LEVEL OF POSITION WILL BE DETERMINED BY APPLICABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE**
Education Experience & Skill Requirements
High School education or GED equivalent
REQUIRED: Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft office (Word Excel)
13 years of power or industrial plant mechanical maintenance experience preferred
