Job Description
Facility: Holy Cross Hospital Silver Spring
Address: 1500 Forest Glen Rd. Silver Spring MD 20910
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8:00 PM 6:30 AM (Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday)
Pay Rate: $66 per hour
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
The Ultrasound Technician will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and care. This role requires accuracy attention to detail and compassion in working with patients during overnight shifts in a hospital setting.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture highquality diagnostic images.
- Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret ultrasound findings.
- Maintain patient records and imaging documentation.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
- Adhere to hospital safety and infection control standards.
