Mission

As the Project Manager for PLD Space your mission is to oversee the planning and delivery of the companys projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the required quality standards.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the endtoend management of PLD Spaces projectsfrom initiation to closure including planning scheduling budgeting resourceallocation and risk management.
  • Collaborate with engineering manufacturing procurementand other departments to define project requirements scope and deliverables.
  • Develop project plans work breakdown structures andschedules ensuring alignment with company objectives and customerexpectations.
  • Monitor project progress identify issues and risks andimplement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Communicate project status milestones and deliverablesto internal stakeholders customers and partners ensuring transparency andalignment.
  • Facilitate effective team meetings reviews anddecisionmaking processes to foster collaboration and drive results.
  • Coordinate with external vendors subcontractors andpartners to ensure timely delivery of goods and services in accordance withproject requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations standardsand quality management systems throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present project reports presentations anddocumentation to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Generate documentation for formalprogram development reviews.
  • Provide highlevel and lowlevelfeedback for MIURA 5 program development planning.


Necessary Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in engineering aerospace or relatedfield advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience managing complex projects in the aerospacedefense or technology industries.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and techniquesincluding scheduling budgeting and risk management.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate crossfunctional teams toachieve project objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills withthe ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with theability to identify issues evaluate options and implement effectivesolutions.
  • Proven track record of working effectively inmultidisciplinary teams and building productive relationships with internal andexternal stakeholders.
  • Sound judgment and decisionmaking abilities especiallyin highpressure situations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirementspriorities and constraints.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fastpaced environmentmanaging multiple development projects and priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meetproject deadlines and milestones.
  • Previous experience in a managerialor leadership role.
  • Fluency in English language.


Competencies Desired

  • Experience in the space launch or satellite industrywith knowledge of spacecraft design propulsion systems or launch operations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements andcertification processes for aerospace products and systems.
  • Certification in project management (e.g. PMP Prince2)or relevant professional associations (e.g. AIAA PMI).
  • Familiarity with space launch systems.
  • Experience with international collaboration projects andworking in multicultural environments.
  • Fluency in French language.
