Core Responsibilities:
- Inspect used cars to identify damages and maintenance needs.
- Test diagnose maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning etc.
- Inform the Service Manager of any additional services or repairs needed estimating the time needed to complete the work.
- Perform work on the repair order per dealership standards.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- 1 year of related experience performing vehicle inspections routine maintenance and repairs.
- ASE certifications are a plus.
- Basic knowledge of vehicles paired with strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and thorough workmanship.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- A valid drivers license and clean driving record are required.
- Must pass a preemployment background check and drug screening.
Hours and Work Environment:
Hours are Monday Friday 8am to 5pm and every other Saturday working in an open air shop with swamp coolers.
