Essential Job Duties
- Manage the commissioning process on various in-house small to medium sized projects
- Perform Commissioning design reviews submittal reviews and closeout document reviews
- Create pre-functioning and functional checklists and commissioning plans
- Conduct Commissioning meetings and managing the commissioning process for assigned projects
- Perform field observations and functional testing
- Document and track test results on issue resolution logs
- Create commissioning deliverables such as final commissioning reports
- Assist in the review and development of staff training and continuing education opportunities
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Project Manager of Commissioning
Qualifications
Required Education/Certificates/Training:
Experience:
- Eight (8) years full time paid professional experience in commissioning
- Working knowledge of building code CHPS and commissioning requirements
- ANSI commissioning certification (CxA CxT BCxP Certified Commissioning Professional)
- Extensive knowledge of building mechanical electrical and plumbing systems
Education:
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelors degree preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering architecture or construction management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in design or construction management with a focus on mechanical systems
- Engineer-In-Training Certification or valid CA Professional Engineering License
- Industry- recognized energy management certification
Wage Requirement
- Starting Salary range for this job is $175000.00 - $189647.00. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill education experience and working environment.
