Job Description
The Registered Nurse will work closely with the school community to maintain a healthy environment. This position can be fulltime or parttime.
Essential Functions
- Provide first aid medical care and emergency care services to students faculty and staff.
- Administer medications and treatments to students as ordered by students physicians.
- Assist in the collection and management of health forms.
- Create and maintain documentation of all encounters assessments and interventions.
- Serve as liaison between students teachers and families in regards to health concerns.
Position Qualifications
- Current Maryland RN license BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Nursing experience in a high school setting.
- Current Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR/Basic Life Support certification.
- Ability to quickly and competently assess medical situations and escalate as needed.
Range: $25.00 30.42 Hourly
