The Centralized Research Group is a part of the Corporate & Investment Bank Research & Analytics vertical. This team works closely with the firms Corporate and Investment Banking teams across the globe in preparing pitch books & marketing materials. These books can relate to mergers & acquisitions equity capital raising or debt capital raising. The Digital Private Markets business is a fastgrowing global team within J.P. Morgans Corporate & Investment Bank. We are creating a highprofile and exciting new fintech business for the firm focused on earlystage private markets.
As an Information Specialist analyst your role involves leveraging crossfunctional business knowledge network and data of J.P. Morgan to create holistic solutions for private companies and their investors.
Job Responsibilities
- Interpret accurately and process data from digital surveys into digital platform for stakeholders to view.
- Use digital tools to extract data from various financial and nonfinancial sources for stakeholder visualization.
- Develop requisite skills to perform quality control at various stages of the data extraction process.
- Develop requisite skills to perform frontend review to confirm the stakeholders view.
- Participate in testing new features for product and engineering team.
- Communicate effectively with key internal stakeholders to understand projects and drive next steps.
- Provide a high level of responsiveness to adhoc requests that address the needs of senior management.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics or other related area. Excellent academic record with strong interest in making a career in finance with the ability to be a team player multitask while working independently delivering high quality results.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read analyze and interpret financial statements (Income Statement Balance Sheet Cash Flow). Strong in MS Office tools.
- Problem Solving: Intuitive thinker focused on asking the right questions to innovate and improve status quo and ability to find / source information from different data sources. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely.
- Project Work: Enjoys an endtoend project from conceptualization to handson . Track record of managing projects to completion while managing multiple deadlines in a dynamic highvolume and fastpaced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills including attention to detail and the ability to succinctly communicate complex issues to audiences at all levels.
- Team Oriented: Team player with the ability to work productively within a group anticipating questions and concerns from internal clients and senior management.
- Ownership: Highly motivated selfstarter keen attention to detail and work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Prior knowledge of analyzing company financials in Excel would be an added advantage.
- Superior analytical organizational and prioritization skills. Independent and driven. Selfstarter with a desire to understand both the big picture and the details. Driven to identify opportunities for efficiency and structure. Strong work ethic and works smart.
- Technical writing skills are a plus.
