Programme Director Data Security (Banking & Finance)
Location: London / Northwest
Project: 12 months Inside IR35
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Programme Manager with a strong background in banking and finance specializing in Data Security. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead largescale projects within a dynamic environment ensuring that data security frameworks are robust compliant and effective across all financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage endtoend data security programmes within banking and financial services.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify risks establish requirements and implement secure data management solutions.
- Develop and maintain project plans ensuring timely delivery budget adherence and highquality outcomes.
- Oversee governance risk and compliance (GRC) activities to meet regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels providing updates and strategic recommendations.
- Continuously improve data security practices by staying up to date with the latest industry trends and regulations.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Programme Manager in the banking and finance sector.
- Strong expertise in Data Security including governance risk management compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR PCIDSS).
- Excellent knowledge of data protection methodologies and industry best practices.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP CISSP CISM) are a plus.
