$30.44 per hour base rate penalties super)
76 hours per Fortnight
This role would ideally suit a skilled cook who enjoys working in a multifunctional kitchen and likes to place a personal touch on their meal design and preparation. As an aged care facility we have multiple dietary requirements and permanent residents therefore you will be a cook who enjoys preparing a range of healthy options to provide variety for the residents in our care.
To work in our industry you must have/be willing to obtain the following;
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or a similar discipline (preferred)
Demonstrated prior experience working in a commercial kitchen and development of menus and working with multiple dietary requirements.
Extensive knowledge of health and safety legislation in response to food preparation food handling and storage.
Current National Police Check (dated within 3 Months)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Annual Influenza vaccination
Covid 19 Vaccinations (Preferred)
First Aid Certificate
Availability to work across a 24/7 Roster to meet operational needs
NT Drivers License
