Rutgers University School of Health Professions SHP invites applications for a parttime 12month faculty position in the Department of Clinical Laboratory and Medical Imaging Sciences CLMIS Clinical Laboratory Sciences Division CLS . The position is available as early as September 2024. The new faculty will be joining the Department and SHP as we continue to expand and build upon our success in the continuum of Clinical Laboratory Science education at the undergraduate and graduate levels in Baccalaureate Medical Laboratory Science Master of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science (MS CLS and Doctorate in Clinical Laboratory Science DCLS . Interprofessional education opportunities are fostered within the Department of CLMIS and SHP . Responsibilities include campus and online course development and instruction in undergraduate and some graduate courses. The areas of focus would be clinical microbiology/infectious disease molecular diagnostics laboratory management and interprofessional education. The candidate will be expected to advise undergraduate students pursue scholarly activities and service to the university school and professional community.

RBHS has also recently launched Rutgers Health a patientcentered collaborative and interprofessional healthcare provider organization offering statewide services. SHP is the largest school of health professions in the nation with seven core departments offering Baccalaureate to Doctoral level programs as well as numerous postprofessional certifications. The Department of Clinical Laboratory and Medical Imaging Sciences CLMIS is a nationally recognized leader in educational programming and the CLS division offers the first professional Doctorate in Clinical Laboratory Science DCLS program in the nation an MS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences with tracks in Medical Laboratory Science and Cytopathology and an undergraduate BS level program in Medical Laboratory Science.
