Location: Abuja Nigeria
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: 700000 monthly (net) plus benefits

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead our medical equipment sales operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives managing a high-performing team and expanding our client base across healthcare institutions and providers. This role requires strong leadership excellent communication skills and a solid track record in medical or healthcare-related sales.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Market Development

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends customer needs and business opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain sales forecasts budgets and performance targets.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with hospitals clinics diagnostic centres and other healthcare providers.

  • Identify and pursue new business leads through networking referrals and cold outreach.

  • Represent the company at industry events exhibitions and conferences.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead supervise and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed set targets.

  • Conduct regular training performance reviews and mentoring for team members.

  • Foster a results-oriented culture that emphasizes customer satisfaction and professionalism.

Product Promotion & Support

  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the company s medical products and solutions.

  • Present and promote products to healthcare professionals procurement officers and decision-makers.

  • Coordinate with the technical team to provide post-sales support where necessary.

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Track monitor and analyze sales performance data and KPIs.

  • Prepare periodic sales reports and recommendations for business improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies industry regulations and ethical standards.


Requirements


Education

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing Life Sciences or a related field.

  • Professional certifications in sales healthcare marketing or project management are an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales preferably in the medical equipment or healthcare sector.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.

  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and meeting sales targets.

Key Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM software.

  • Knowledge of local healthcare procurement processes is a plus.
