Job Overview
Podar Education Network is seeking a Computer Teacher for a midlevel position at our Shimoga location. This fulltime role requires a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 6 years of work experience in the education sector. As a Computer Teacher you will contribute to the innovative and dynamic learning environment that Podar schools are known for facilitating student engagement and promoting technological understanding.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in curriculum development ensuring educational objectives are met (Mandatory skill).
- Masters degree in Computer Applications (MCA) (Mandatory skill).
- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) certification (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in programming languages to support computer science education.
- Strong foundation in computer science principles and their application in a classroom setting.
- Excellent classroom management skills to maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Problemsolving skills to help students overcome learning challenges in technology subjects.
- Effective communication abilities for clear and engaging lectures and instructions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive computer science curriculum in line with academic standards.
- Deliver engaging lectures and workshops to enhance students understanding of computer applications.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively fostering an inclusive and productive learning environment.
- Evaluate student progress through assignments exams and project work providing constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest educational technologies to incorporate them into teaching methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning opportunities and workshops.
- Engage students in handson projects to encourage practical application of theoretical concepts.
- Communicate with parents and guardians to report on student progress and address concerns.
