About the Role

As a Service Manager you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and where applicable their families. This position is based in Clayton.

Your Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Leadership: Lead a dedicated team of disability support workers providing highintensity support to clients.
  • Performance Management: Ensure the overall performance of the service aligns with annual work plans and meets established targets.
  • PersonDirected Support: Promote persondirected support and community participation that exceeds minimum disability standards all within available resources.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage the daytoday operations of supported accommodation services surpassing identified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Support Excellence: Provide highquality support to customers and their families offering management support to care staff.
  • Please note that this role includes a component of rostered afterhours oncall duty.

About You

To be successful in this role youll share Yoorallas Values and have:

  • Management Experience: Demonstrated management experience preferably within a community services environment.
  • Sector Knowledge: Understanding of legislation and standards relevant to the disability sector.
  • PersonCentered Approach: Knowledge and understanding of how to support staff in implementing contemporary and personcentered approaches to uphold the rights and support needs of individuals with disabilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Resource Management: Demonstrated ability to manage financial and staff resources within a complex environment.
  • Initiative and Organization: Excellent initiative selfdirected work practices and highly developed organizational skills.
  • A relevant qualification and/or significant experience in the human services area
