Founded in 1976 Mason Gross School of the Arts is the flagship public arts conservatory of New Jersey and is part of Rutgers The State University of New Jersey a leading Big Ten public research university serving more than 65000 students the nations eightholdest institution of higher learning and a member of the prestigious Association of American Universities. The school is home to the departments of Art & Design Dance Filmmaking Music and Theater as well as Rutgers Arts Online and Rutgers Community Arts. The Department of Music Mason Gross School of the Arts Rutgers University is seeking a PartTime Lecturer to teach the twosemester Art of Production sequence during theacademic year. This includes two 3credit courses: Art of Production I: Recording in Fall 2020 and Art of Production II: Mixing in Spring 2021. The ideal candidate will have professional experience working in the areas of recording mixing and postproduction an advanced degree in the field of music technology/audio production (or equivalent professional experience) and teaching experience at the college level.
