Job Description

The Kingston Hotel has recently undergone a stunning refurbishment and just four months on were busier than ever! With our venue growing from strength to strength were looking for a passionate handson Duty Manager to join our leadership team and help drive exceptional service and team culture as we continue to grow.

With a fresh new look and spaces designed to cater to all kinds of guests and occasions we pride ourselves on offering the Kingborough community a place where eveyone has a place to belong. Whether its a small private dining experience a meal after the working day is done or in our sports bar watching your favourite team on the big screen.

In this role you will

  • Report directly to the Venue Manager and be handson with the daytoday.
  • Provide support leadership and guidance to the team while keeping things fun for everyone.
  • Work across the entire venue including: our sports bar gaming room Darcys Bar and Eatery accommodation and functions.
  • Bring positive energy encouraging your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Assist with roster management & wage cost control staff training & development ordering & stock management function & event planning and delivery.

The right fit will

  • Previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of gaming functions dining and bar operations.
  • Have a knack for making folks feel right at home the second they walk in. Whether youre chatting with regulars welcoming newcomers or rallying the team.
  • Coordinate functions and events making sure every detail is perfect.
  • Demonstrate hospitality agility to find solutions and adapt to business needs quickly.
  • Create a collaborative and forwardthinking environment where everyone works together to deliver a great level of customer service
  • Be available across a 7 day rotating roster.
