Job Description
Job Title:Social Worker Learning Disability and Autism Team
Location:Newcastle City Council
Rate: 231 per day
An exciting job role has recently become available at Newcastle City Council. They are looking for a new member for their Learning Disability and Autism Team.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of social workers focused on personcentered services for adults with learning disabilities and autism.
- Oversee ethical and compliant case management.
- Provide supervision and foster professional growth within the team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic care planning.
- Make key decisions in complex cases ensuring user safeguarding.
- Contribute to service development and promote best practices.
- Manage resources effectively maintaining budget and care standards.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK licence
- Postqualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
