Your next career opportunity
As the International Engagement Coordinator for the Faculty of Science youll play a pivotal role in shaping global partnerships and innovative education programs. Youll have the opportunity to manage highimpact international initiatives including the BSc Blended and BSc Advanced Honours (Dual Degree) programs while identifying and implementing practical opportunities to enhance the Facultys global engagement. Your expertise will directly contribute to the Facultys international strategic objectives and global presence.

Please note: While this role is initially offered as a 6month contract there may be potential for extension or consideration for other opportunities within the Faculty at the end of the term.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain bilateral and multilateral relationships with international partners developing agreements and collaborative activities.
  • Drive International Engagement: Conduct research provide practical recommendations and coordinate the implementation of international engagement activities.
  • Coordinate Flagship Programs: Administer the BSc Blended and BSc Advanced Honours programs maintaining agreements and supporting program development.
  • Support Strategic DecisionMaking: Prepare briefing papers and reports to inform senior stakeholders and support the Facultys international engagement goals.

You may be a great fit if:

You bring strong operational insight and a collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills. You are adept in managing complex stakeholder relationships and have a proven track record in international education program coordination or engagement .

You may also:

  • Have a degree in international relations marketing communications or a related field.
  • Possess advanced communication skills with experience working with international agents partners and students.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Have experience in coordinating international visits and planning events.
  • Show a proven ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Be adaptable and willing to work out of hours and travel when required.

The Strategy Planning and Resources team sits in the Faculty of Science Secretariat and leads the Facultys strategy projects student planning and the international portfolio. The Faculty Secretariat is the administrative unit within the Faculty of Science and all its teaching research and commercial activities. The Secretariat is responsible for the policy development planning implementation and ongoing management of Faculty programs.
