Job Description
Redbanks is a locally managed community focused notforprofit skilled nursing center located in Henderson Ky. Redbanks is currently searching for a fulltime Medical Records Clerk.
Summary of Position: Responsible for medical records through preparation compilation maintenance and filing. This position is responsible for Admission Records Maintenance of Records Auditing of Open Charts and Discharge Records.
Qualifications:
- Lpn (preferred) SRNA/CMA
- High school diploma required. Continuing education related to medical office assisting or related field preferred.
- Clerical experience required medical office experience preferred.
- Medical Records experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic email applications. Electronic Medical Record or other database experience preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills required as well as the ability to relate positively effectively and appropriately with staff visitors government agencies and the general public.
- Strong planning and organizational skills to ensure all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
