Job Description
- Governance and Process Improvement:
- Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Continuously assess and improve procurement processes to enhance effectiveness and reduce costs.
- Ensure procurement activities are aligned with company policies and industry best practices.
- Vendor Relationship Management:
- Manage endtoend vendor relationships including selection negotiation and contract management.
- Establish strategic partnerships with suppliers for PAN India projects to ensure longterm collaboration and cost efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure highquality supply and service levels.
- Strategic Procurement and Cost Management:
- Forecast market trends to identify opportunities for strategic tieups and price hedging.
- Identify and source new materials that contribute to cost reduction and profitability.
- Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitive pricing.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Streamline procurement processes across 70 projects to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Guide and support zonal teams in daytoday procurement activities providing expertise and oversight.
- Implement agile procurement practices to respond quickly to project needs and market changes.
- Reporting and Benchmarking:
- Prepare and publish detailed management reports on procurement activities performance metrics and strategic initiatives.
- Benchmark procurement practices against industry standards to position the company as a leader in procurement excellence.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the procurement team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support overall business objectives and project success.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven track record of successfully managing vendor relationships and strategic procurement initiatives.
- Ability to forecast market trends and make informed procurement decisions.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
