Job Description
- o This role includes supply chain analytics and hencelot of data handling through MS Excel is involved
- o Generate monthly production requirement based onMonthly forecast Inventory norm Production capacity & Annual businessplan
- o Plan shipments of Finished Goods from Factory toHubs HUBs to Warehouses or HUBs to HUBs based on the demand
- o Ensure Inventory norms adherence by keepingsufficient stocks to at each node
- o Regular coordination with Operations LogisticsSales & Marketing team to ensure fulfillment of demand and maximize servicelevels
- o Plan Produce and distribute New launch products asper NPD launch timeline in line with Marketing plan
- o Historical data correction by considering marketmovement product sale ability trend and seasonality changes
- o Uploading of estimates in the APO system afterfinal Consensus with required stakeholders such as Sales and Marketing team.Ensure correctness of master data in system for seamless data integrationacross multiple transactions
- o Ideal Delivery Order generation basis thedisaggregated forecast and cover norms decided at WSP & WD Nodes
- o Perform a sanity check on the uploaded forecastnumbers to eliminate errors due to any noises identified at downstream saleslevel as well as at system master data level
- o Analyze overstocking/understocking at warehouses anddiscuss with Warehousing team to take appropriate action periodically to ensurefreshness of inventory
- o Identifying the root cause of Fill rate Drop atdemand locations and take immediate corrective action
- o Maintaining healthy freshness index of stocks byefficient management of Inventory and timely escalation of ageing stocks andtaking actions such as reworking redistribution to high selling locationproposing for writeoff etc.
- o Calculate forecast metrics accuracy bias fidelityfillrate and other KPIs on periodic basis
- o Data preparation to facilitate monthly S&OPmeetings and anchor accordingly in PreS&OP
Requirements
VBA Coding using MS Excel is an added advantage
UG From Engineering background
Experience in Demand Forecasting
Experience in Distribution planning
